I am a graduate of Grace Primary School and St. John's College and shortly after I left there, my first radio job was at LOVE in early 2002. I have been at WAVE Radio since October 2002 and I can concede that this has been an interesting rollercoaster ride. I started out as a sales person after leaving my old job. I quickly became a news anchor where I have cemented myself in that position for the past four years. I have been News Director for two years when I became my General Manager¡¦s assistant. I have also been the technician on WAVE Radio's Fus Ting Da Mawnin' for the last three and a half years. I have had several opportunities to cover some very pivotal events in Belize's post-Independence history (i.e. the Albert Street riots of April 20, 2005 and the sweeping UDP victory of March 1, 2006, as a matter of fact that was the biggest story of my career thus far.) At this point in my fairly young life, I am happy being single and disengaged. It gives you an opportunity to stop and smell the flowers and pay attention to the world around you. I presume that coming out of humble beginnings on the Southside of Belize City, you learn to appreciate the simple things in life. I have four siblings, the eldest who lives in the United States.

In my spare time I catch up on some good reading. A few authors I like: Dan Brown (writer of the Da Vinci Code); Sidney Sheldon; Stephen King; Danielle Steele (to understand why romance novels are mushy); I have also read a Terri McMillan and some books on US pop culture (again to understand people). I also like traveling, volunteering, and if time permits catch a good movie and hang out with my close friends and family. I have been a volunteer with the YMCA for the past five years and I have worked with hundreds of city children, as I do tutoring when the news is over.

Wish list:

  • Become the Secretary General of the United Nations to hopefully get closer to world peace and prosperity.
  • Meet a few of my favorite musical artists: Sade, Madonna, Mariah Carey, and the Pussycat Dolls, etc.
  • Star in a couple of movies.
  • Anchor news on US Network television (i.e. become the next black Belizean Tom Brokaw or Brian Williams¡Kof course, I need to do the television thing here first.)
  • Travel to Africa, Europe and Asia

Favorite quotes:

I am not too keen on repeating things that people say so I present a partial list of my own philosophies: --

  • If it's going to give you a headache, giveth no credence to it.
  • The intangible dreams of many have a tangible effect upon the world.
  • Intoxication in the exuberance of verbosity, pride, money or anything that can get you intoxicated, avoid at all costs.
  • Money makes the world go round.
  • Politics is all about perception, and whatever you perceive it to be can make you or break you.
  • Life without humor is pointless; your face muscles become stagnated and you think: "Might as well I get them amputated."
  • Good literature is about is life and tragedy: life being something most of us don't have and tragedy being a permanent scar on your body.
